The latest software enables the user to carry out designs to BS 8110 and Eurocode 2. It will also take account of openings in the slab. Details of voids can be inputted into the program; the software then calculates the perimeter reductions and automatically updates the design. The software also allows direct input of effective shear load (Veff) as well as design shear loads (VEd or Vt).
Please note, the ‘Download’ should be saved over the existing version of the software. When you next open the program, you will be able to use it as normal.
