Teplo-BF, Ancon's innovative low thermal conductivity wall tie, was shortlisted for 'Best Innovation in Insulation' at the Build It Awards.
Following fire tests at BRE Global, Ancon confirmed its innovative basalt fibre wall ties, Teplo-L and Teplo-BF, offer 120 minute fire resistance, making them suitable for buildings of any height (subject to structural performance).

Ancon exhibited at Evolving Concrete where it showcased its products for structural concrete connections including KSN Anchors, Shear Load Connectors, Insulated Balcony Connectors and Rebar Couplers.

Recognising excellence in brickwork, Ancon sponsored the 'Innovative Use of Clay and Brick Products' at the 40th annual Brick Awards.
On 17th November, Ancon sponsored the 48th Concrete Society Awards which celebrates excellence in the concrete industry.
November brought to a close Ancon's sponsorship of Holi, one of the 58 elephant sculptures created for the public arts trail, the Herd of Sheffield. Uniquely designed by professional artists, the elephant auction raised a spectacular £410,600 for The Children's Hospital Charity.
A new animation was launched showing the main limitations of traditional rebend continuity systems while presenting a safer, easier and quicker solution in the CARES-Approved KSN Anchor system.
