Next week Ancon will be exhibiting at Ecobuild 2018, Tuesday 6th - Thursday 8th March, at ExCeL London, where we’ll be displaying our latest range of innovative fixing solutions on Stand C62.
Our product portfolio is an attractive option for anyone involved in zero carbon or low energy construction projects. It includes ultra-low thermal conductivity cavity wall ties and insulated balcony connectors which minimise thermal bridging without compromising on structural performance.
Ancon’s innovative, BBA-approved, basalt-fibre wall ties, Teplo-BF, Teplo-L and our new resin-fixed Teplo-BFR will all feature at Ecobuild. With a thermal conductivity of just 0.7W/mK, the Teplo range is excluded from U-value calculations, minimising insulation thickness and wall footprint.
To further assist designers to achieve improved thermal performance is Ancon’s comprehensive range of thermally insulated balcony connectors. It includes solutions for concrete-to-concrete, steel-to-concrete and steel-to-steel interfaces. The bracketry can be specified in stainless steel, which is three times more thermally efficient than galvanised/carbon steel, and designed to avoid conflicts with external cladding.
The exhibition stand will also display NEXUS, a BBA approved, modular, brick-faced soffit system, that allows designers to achieve exciting masonry façade aesthetics, such as deep reveals, quickly and easily on site – the result of a collaboration between Ancon and Ibstock Kevington.
