Interbuild 2007 Review
Ancon is shortlisted for Best Interbuild Stand 2007
Ancon’s 66sqm stand at Interbuild 2007 provided an ideal opportunity for visitors to evaluate the company’s full range of products for both masonry and concrete construction, including a considerable number of new products.
Many of Ancon’s stainless steel fixings were displayed within low level brick walls to clearly demonstrate their various functions. Products shown in-situ included masonry support systems, bed joint reinforcement, windposts and wall ties.
Representatives from Ancon’s Technical Services Team and senior sales staff were on hand throughout the exhibition to discuss current and future project requirements.
New Ancon products on display at Interbuild 2007 were:
- AMR Masonry Reinforcement;
- Non-Drill Masonry-to-Steel Wall Ties;
- Timber Frame Wall Tie (100mm Cavity);
- Batten Fixing Alignment Tool (patent pending);
- Crack Stitching Kit;
- Shearfix Punching Shear Reinforcement & Design Program;
- Isolan Insulated Balcony Connectors;
- Starter Bar System
For more information on any of the above please either click the appropriate text or complete the online enquiry form.
Ancon would like to thank all its visitors for taking the time to attend the exhibition.
Thanks also goes to the companies who contributed materials to the Ancon stand: H&H UK (blocks), EH Smith (bricks), Kingspan (light steel frame/insulation) and Thermal Economics (bubble foil insulation).
During the show judges from the Construction Marketing Awards made 'under cover' visits to all 2000 stands to assess each exhibitor on stand design, visitor engagement and the attitude and behaviour of the stand staff. As a result Ancon was nominated for Best Interbuild Stand.
This is the third time the company has been shortlisted for a Construction Marketing Award. In 2003 Ancon won the CMA award for Best Technical Literature.
