Leviat Launches New Online Windpost Specification Tool

A new online Windpost Configurator from fixing and support specialist, Leviat, makes it much easier and quicker to specify Windposts to provide lateral support to large masonry panels, without the need to increase wall thickness or add additional structural columns. 

The easy-to-use specification tool for Leviat’s market-leading Ancon Windpost range requires users to simply provide information on the type of post required and basic details of the wall design, plus the opening height, preferred connection details and loading requirements. 

Once the details have been added, a single click allows further Windpost specifications to be added prior to submission of the form. 

On completion, Leviat provides the user with working drawings for approval prior to manufacturing the items, simplifying the order process and reducing the chance of specification errors and delays. 

Whilst the new online configurator makes the Windpost specification process far simpler, the existing editable PDF alternative will still be available.
