Ancon ST1 Wall Tie
Type 1 Tie to PD 6697 (Masonry Heavy Duty)*
The Ancon ST1 is suitable for cavities from 50mm to 225mm and can be used for all types of building of any height, anywhere in the British Isles. The section that spans the cavity has a series of holes to provide water drips. This allows the same tie to be used in insulated cavities as well as open cavities.
The ST1 is UKCA and CE Marked.

Type 1 performance is declared in M2 mortar
Ancon Staifix RT2 General Purpose Wall Tie
Type 2 Tie to PD 6697 (Masonry General Purpose)*
Replaces the Double Triangle Tie
The Ancon Staifix RT2 is suitable for cavities from 50mm to 150mm and can be used in the construction of domestic houses and small commercial buildings up to 15 metres in height. Altitude and wind speed restrictions may apply.
The RT2 is UKCA and CE Marked and can be used in line with NHBC standards.

Ancon Staifix HRT4 Housing Wall Tie (Type 4/Type A)
Type 4 Tie to PD 6697 (Masonry Light Duty)*
Replaces the Butterfly Tie
The Ancon Staifix HRT4 is suitable for cavities from 50mm to 175mm and can be used in the construction of domestic houses up to 10 metres in height. Altitude and wind speed restrictions may apply.
Independent tests have proven the HRT4 has a measured dynamic stiffness of <4.8MN/m3 when installed at a standard 2.5 ties/m2 spacing and is therefore suitable for internal separating (party) walls of new-build attached dwellings with cavities from 50mm to 175mm.
The HRT4 is UKCA and CE Marked and can be used in line with NHBC standards.
The HRT4 can be used with all approved robust details for cavity masonry separating walls, whether traditional or thin-joint blockwork. Use of these details eliminates the need for pre-completion sound testing.

Ancon Teplo Range
The Ancon Teplo-BF is available in a range of diameters and lengths to suit cavities from 50mm to 450mm.
The range comprises Teplo-BF1 (Type 1), Teplo-BF2 (Type 2), Teplo-BF3 (Type 3) and Teplo-BF4 (Type 4). Decreasing wall tie centres from the standard 2.5/sq.m can increase the tie's performance e.g. Type 3 to Type 2. Click here for more information on wall tie types.
BBA Certificates are available upon request. Please email tech.ancon.uk@leviat.com

Ancon Teplo-BFR
The Teplo-BFR is a low thermal conductivity wall tie manufactured from basalt-fibres that features a plain end for resin anchoring into an existing structure and a moulded safety end for building into a new bed joint.
It is ideal for new-build cavity wall construction where mortar joints do not align e.g. thin-joint blockwork, or in retrofit applications where a new leaf of masonry and insulated cavity is being constructed against a pre-existing masonry or concrete wall.
Available in 16 standard lengths, Teplo-BFR is suitable for cavities from 75mm to 450mm. The design embedment is 70mm in the inner leaf (resin) and 65mm in the outer leaf (mortar). It is a 7mm diameter wall tie, requiring a 10mm drill bit/hole. FIS VT 380 chemical anchor resin is available for use with Teplo-BFR.
Tie Type to PD6697 is dependent on the strength of the substrate and a pull-out test is recommended on site. Our test programme indicates Type 1 in 75-150mm cavities, Type 2 in 175-300mm cavities, Type 3 in 325-400mm cavities and Type 4 in 425-450mm cavities.
Ancon Teplo-R
Plain-ended Teplo-R ties, inspired by the original basalt fibre wall tie, are ideal for resin-fixed remedial/ retrofit projects. Click here for more information.
